Location: All courses will be held at the Intelligence and Security Academy’s offices at 1892 Preston White Drive, Suite 300, Reston, Virginia 20191. We are moving to another building in the same complex by the end of March 2010 so the location will change for classes being held starting in April 2010 – the new location is 1890 Preston White Drive, Second Floor, Reston, Virginia 20191.

Schedule: A light breakfast will be provided daily between 7:45 and 8:30 am.  Course instruction will begin at 8:30 am for all classes. Half-day courses will end by 1 pm and most full-day courses will end by 4:30 pm. On full-day courses, lunch will be provided. Your registration confirmation will include final timing for your class.

Attire: Appropriate attire for attending courses is business casual.

Discounts for the Spring 2010 Semester:

  • We offer multi-course discounts for individuals, 2.5% for two courses and an additional 2.5% for each additional course thereafter. Contact us for discount codes to use in registering for courses online.
  • Groups of 4 or more from a single entity will each receive a discount of 10% each for a single course.  All members of a group must register at the same time. No discount code is needed when registering online.
  • Groups taking more than one course are also eligible for the multi-course discount but this is based on specific individuals and is not transferable to others.
  • USGIF members will receive a 10% discount for any of the OPEN INTELLACADEMY™ courses offered in the Spring 2010 semester. No discount code is needed when registering online.

Registration: Course registration is capped at 24 seats, so please register early!  To simplify registration for our students, you can register online through our.  Checks are accepted if you prefer to register via mail.

Cancellation Policy: OPEN INTELLACADEMY™ courses are limited in enrollment to provide an optimal learning experience for attendees. However, if a course falls below our minimum enrollment we reserve the right to cancel, and will do so no less than 7 business days in advance of class and will notify students
via contact info provided. A full refund will be provided or a student may choose to reschedule to another running of the course or credit the payment towards one of our other courses offered. Our student cancellation policy is as follows:

  1. Any cancellation made after registration is processed but prior to 7 business days before the 1st day of class will be billed a 10% administrative fee & the remainder refunded.
  2. Any cancellation made 7 or less business days prior to the 1st day of class will be charged a 50% cancellation fee & the remainder refunded.
  3. No reimbursements will be made for no-shows or for cancellations received once the course has begun.
